G.R. Kearney is the author of More than a Dream: How One School's Vision is Changing the World and The Small Things. He studied English at Georgetown University and earned an MBA at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He works for a private equity firm in Chicago. He previously worked as a volunteer teacher, coach, and bus driver at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and as the managing editor of Partners magazine. He and his wife live in Chicago with their son. Despite the continued underperformance of the United States Congress, G.R. does actually believe things can get better.
