news & reviews

Eventually, after you've read some or all of this book and shared it with your friends, who have shared it with their friends, who have shared it with their friends, this page will be populated by news stories about Noa Kalakaua's campaign and reviews of Run. It may not happen before the 2008 presidential election. But it will surely happen before the 2010 mid-term elections.

You can help make it happen. If you're frustrated with the performance of our government, then please download a copy of RUN and read some or all of it. And, when you're done, please please please tell your friends and/or your enemies, or anyone else you think cares or should care about the future of our country.

To the casual reader, it must sound like I'm being a bit overdramatic. I'm not. Our country faces some major hurdles. Because of a simple misalignment of incentives, the people we've elected to deal with these issues are incapable of doing so.

Unless we change that, we're in for trouble. Noa Kalakaua is the only politician with a real plan to change it.

September 9, 2008 -- A 21st Century Parable: This blog post by Jack Walsh appeared on "The Do Nothing Congress" Blog.

RUN (the novel) is the creation of a gifted writer, G. R. Kearney.  Mr Kearney is based in the Chicago area.  RUN is an easy read.  It is thought provoking and entertaining. RUN takes the reader along on Noa Kalakuau’s quest as an independent, running for President of The United States in the upcoming 2008 Presidential election.

RUN’s main character, Noa Kalakuau, is an economist from the University of Chicago.  Noa is deeply concerned about the financial condition of the United States and about the inability of the Congress to deal with virtually any issue that comes before it.  He knows that the single most important goal of most members of Congress is re-election and that most in the Congress act only in their self interest, and not in the interests of their constituents.  Kalakuau understands that the debt load facing the United States will eventually “take down” this great nation unless the problem is dealt with promptly.  Kalakuau knows that the poor and the elderly will suffer the most for generations to come; and that many millions of us will be denied the “American Dream” as a result of the actions of greedy, unethical politicians.  Noa decides to do something about it.

RUN is available for FREE DOWNLOAD at http://www.Runthenovel.com .  Follow Noa as he takes on both political parties, their presidential and congressional candidates, and the special interest groups.  See how Noa positions himself to pull off the greatest election upset in the history of the United States.  Download RUN.  You will love it.

September 7, 2008 [G.R. Kearney] has written a powerful book to further the cause of Congressional Term Limits, and, in order to get it out fast before the 2008 election, has made it available online, free, to get the widest possible readership before the election. The link is: http://www.runthenovel.com/about/index.html

I've read the book, and highly recommend it. What is so compelling about the story is that it is both very timely and PLAUSIBLE, since so many people are disgusted with the state of our politics and especially about Congress.

Read it, and I'm sure you will recommend it to your friends.

He hopes to get it out to Amazon soon, but I suggest you read it now, on your computer. It is less than 250 pages, with lots of 'white space', so it isn't tough to read on the screen. Read it and spread the word before the election!
